Our Mission
The Dog House offers refuge to companion animals from high-kill shelters who are deserving of loving homes. Great dogs that would otherwise be euthanized are up to date on their shots, spayed/neutered, and obedience trained so that they will continue to be good citizens in furever families.

SADIE
SWEET AND GENTLE COMPANION​!

Sadie is a young female German Shepherd who is gentle, affectionate, and loving. She is an ideal family dog, who is also great with other dogs. Sadie is house trained and crate trained, and she walks well on a leash. She is a smart dog, who has been selected to train with Joel Silverman (Animal Planet: Good Dog U and Head Trainer of Trusted Paws Academy). She comes to you knowing a number of tricks already, including sit, stay, come, lie down, and heel. She is also able to avoid counter surfing, leave it, go to place, and keep all 4 paws on the floor. Sadie is an incredible young dog who is family ready, and she won't be available for long!​

PORTER
PORTER LOVES EVERYONE
Looking for a new fur baby? Look no further than Porter! This young boy has plenty of love to give and is in search of a forever home. He's an affectionate, friendly, curious, goofy, and playful pup who loves nothing more than a good cuddle session. He's also great with other dogs, so he'll fit right in if you already have a furry friend in your life. Porter is house and crate trained, walks politely on a leash, and comes when he's called - what more could you ask for? He loves car rides, going on walks and hikes, and playing with other dogs, so he's sure to keep you entertained. If you're looking for a fun-loving, adorable pup, Porter is the perfect addition to your family.

ROVER
ADOPTED!
LADIES MAN!
​Rover is a woman's best friend. He came to us as an energetic young man and quickly became the glue that holds the family together. Whether raising puppies, keeping grandma company, or comforting us in our time of need, Rover is an empathetic soul. He brightens our lives with his games of tug and softens our nights with his snuggles and puppy dog eyes.
Rover is crate trained, house trained, and has fabulous food AND toy motivation. He would love a home where he can be the star of the show.

OREO
SKEETER
Meet the affectionate and playful dog who is always ready for an adventure. She is funny and curious, friendly and goofy. Oreo is outgoing, a fan of car rides, and is always up for a trip to Home Depot. Her favorite things include splashing in water, squeaky toys, and soft fluffy beds.
She's very well behaved and already knows a lot of tricks like "sit", "stay", "come", "shake", and "high five". She's also house and crate trained! Oreo is a loving dog in search of her very own person that she can follow around while they do yard work or gardening (she loves sniffing flowers), hang out on a rug while they cook in the kitchen, or let her snuggle on the couch while watching a movie. Oreo would like you to know that she loves people a lot, and would prefer to be an only pet so she can get ALL of your love and not get barked at by other dogs.
BONUS: Oreo also loves walking and jogging on the treadmill, so she is very easy to exercise in both summer and winter.
